Hi, I’m Emma Quest—founder of EQ Pathways.

I’ve spent over a decade working in health and social care, leading award-winning service transformations and pioneering innovative approaches to Technology Enabled Care (TEC). My career has taken me from frontline services to national strategy, and I’ve had the privilege of working with local authorities, NHS trusts, and community organisations to improve outcomes for vulnerable people.

But EQ Pathways isn’t just about what I’ve done, it’s about how I work. I believe in practical, person-centred solutions, emotionally intelligent leadership, and building genuine relationships that help people and teams thrive. Whether I’m supporting someone new to their role, helping a team navigate change, or co-designing a service with stakeholders, my focus is always on creating impact that lasts.

I practice what I preach. I’ve been fortunate to have had two coaches who also felt like mentors throughout my career; one I was matched with while working in a local authority, simply because I asked the right question, and the other I began working with after being promoted to a new role, thanks to a great boss who saw the value in coaching. Both have consistently encouraged and challenged me in all the right ways, both personally and professionally. Their support has been invaluable, and I’m deeply grateful for the time and energy they’ve invested in me.

Outside of work, I wear many hats: daughter, sister, girlfriend, mother of two, bonus mum of two, and co-parent. Also added in to the mix are two dogs and a cat, who keep life lively and full of cuddles. I juggle family life, full-time work, and a love of fun activities with friends and loved ones.

I’m a bit of a geek. I love escape rooms, hate cleaning, and find joy in zoning out in my pyjamas with a good TV show. I have strengths and I have weaknesses (cheese and chocolate top the list!). I’m not perfect, but I embrace the imperfections and believe in turning setbacks into stepping stones.

As the daughter of an occupational psychologist, I was raised with a natural curiosity about people, why they behave the way they do, what drives them, and how they can move forward. That mindset is woven into everything I do. I find people and their stories endlessly fascinating, and I take real joy in helping others unlock or unblock themselves or their service.

I feel privileged by those who’ve already trusted me to be part of their journey, and I look forward to working with many more in the future.
